1 and a half year later

After 1 1/2 year later, I finally met up with an old friend of mine for dinner last night... It was awkward at first, but the situation warmed up a bit after a while... I hope that this will be a 'lost and found' situation...

Yoga Lin

Went to watch Yoga's concert last sat... It was SPLENDID!!! Although some people may say that he's boring but I think its his style and his type of songs that he likes and affected him in some ways or another... Its true that songs of the songs are unheard of but I think he sang very well... For a newcomer like him, I think he is very good. Imagine he got 2 encores and I think Ningz and I got quite high towards the end... One regret is that he didnt sing '伯乐' which is one of my favourite song of his...

家有喜事2009

Went to watch the gala premiere of '家有喜事2009' last thursday... Managed to catch some glimpses of 吴君如 at the event... Got the free tix from my company because my agency was the top agency in smartsell program in 2008...

Overall the show was so-so... Brainless as well as plotless... I was prepared for the 'brainless and plotless' part, because this is a 贺岁片, so its all for a good laugh... But I did not manage to laugh at all except for a dew '呵呵' and thats all...
Will not spend money for such a show if i were u...

Marina Barrage

Friday night, PW, Susan, Ray, ZL and I went to the very deserted Singapore Flyer to have dinner... It was terrible... After which we went to the MArina Barrage to take a breather... It was windy and comfortable... Its a nice place for couples to go at night...

Update on New Year's Eve

PW, Susan, Celia, Ray, ZL, Chung, Desomond and I wanted to go to Balaclavia at Suntec for countdown to 2009... We thought that it will be very crowded as it was supposed to be, so we went there at around 630 to 'chop' seats. BUT... The whole place was bare... It was happy hour and yet it was bare... Someone even approached us telling us to get a life, look at the place 'its happy hour. Do u think its happy now?'... Initially we thought ok... nvm.. lets giv e it a try... Who knows, at around 10pm... we were so bored by the band and place that we decided to move to St James... And thats where the party begins... woo... Happy 2009 people!

凤飞飞

Ok ok... I'm old... I like to listen to 凤飞飞 and even wen to her concert just now... BUT my brother and sister also went with me together with my parents, so who's old?! hahaha

The concert was fantastic!! It was way way way much better then the other one we watch earlier this year... Her 台风 and stage presence was excellent! I will watch her again when she comes to Singapore again...

What was lacking in the concert is the very very lousy Singaporean audience... They werealllike dead fishes who can't clap their flippers... If not for the taiwanese fan club, i think this concert will be dead even though what's on the stage was world class...

Haoyang's Solemnisation

Went to VJC for Haoyang's soleminsation... Its the place they met, so its very special for both of them...

Christmas gathering on 20/12/08

Just had a Christmas gathering with my NTUCO friends on the 20th... It was a small and cosy potluck gathering... Had lasagna, chicken rice, potato salad, Kong Ba Bao...
Had an unusual gift exchange...

Then me, zx, sn, sy and zy went to watch 'Yes Man' before hitting off to bed at around 530am...

Overall, its a comfortable event...

家谱

As u all know, I just came back from China... For these 9 days, we went to 厦门，潮州，汕头 and 海南岛. For the last few days, we stayed at 海南岛 where my relatives are. These relatives are actually my cousins 堂哥，堂姐, nephews and even a grandson (my cousin's grandson)... So actually they are quite close to me...

My 堂哥 gave me our 家谱. In case u dunno, this 家谱 is a poem which help us differentiate our generation. Because one generation after the next will adopt the next word in the poem. I shall post my 家谱 up here.

The poem is to be read from right to left, top to bottom.
For my generation, its 明(they unified all 罗 clan, so therefore my 长 has being changed to 明)... My son will be 崇... So his name will be 罗崇_, his son will be 罗圣_, so on and so forth...

After a very tiring 9 days of vacation in China (yah yah again!), I've finally touched down in Singapore... Home sweet home... Nothing smells better than my smelly bed... haha...
